Galley
Custom galley, sleeping platform system made from sturdy but lightweight aluminum. Two drawer system extend independently; one is the stove platform, the other holds cooking gear. 12V Dometic CD-30 drawer fridge.
Note: Contents of cooking gear drawer not included (unless you really want it, in which case we can discuss).
Sleeping Platform
The sleeping platform extends from the trunk area to the front of the vehicle via 3 aluminum support bars, on top of which go the bed platform wood slats and an inflatable mattress. The bars and the bed slats are removable and go in a dedicated carrying bag. Because the trunk in the FJ cannot be opened from the inside, I installed a manual mechanism so it can now be opened from the sleeping area.
Hot Shower System
This FJ can produce an infinite amount of hot water, only limited by the source (jerry can, river or lake). It uses the Glind Hot Shower System (https://www.glindhotshower.com/) The system works by heating the water sucked in from the source by a pump and driven through a heat exchanger, which passively heats the water just with the residual heat from the engine. It is very effective and the temperature can be regulated by an adjustable valve. The hot water is driven to the rear of the vehicle where there’s a stall that can be used for privacy for a shower or toilet.
ICOM HAM Radio
Professionally installed ICOM IC-2730A, including the suction cup base, mounting bracket (still new and unused in box, as it turned out to be unnecessary for under dash mounting) and remote head mounting bracket.

The microphone plugs in to a socket installed under the dash. The radio base unit is installed deep inside the dashboard (it never needs to be touched or moved as there’s a remote mountable head as seen in the photos.
Driving Lights
Forward-facing Nilight LED lights with custom dash-mounted switch. I have a pair of rear lights and switch I have not installed yet, so brand new. You can see photos of the illumination from the stock FJ lights and the new lights.
Upgraded Stereo
Touchscreen Hieha radio head unit compatible with Apple CarPlay and Google Auto. I kept the original factory radio in case you want to go back to stock.
